LandBank grants PHP14M aid to LGUs affected by storm Kristine

Land Bank of the Philippines (LandBank) is providing PHP14 million in financial aid to 130 local government units (LGUs) in Luzon and the Visayas impacted by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine.

This financial assistance aims to bolster the recovery efforts of the affected LGUs by augmenting their calamity funds and supporting essential services for evacuees.

The PHP14 million donation is separate from the PHP1.1 billion government aid already announced for affected families.

In addition to supporting LGUs, LandBank is also offering financial assistance programs to affected businesses and sectors through its CARES PLUS lending program.

Eligible entities for the CARES PLUS program include micro, small, and medium enterprises, cooperatives, large corporations, and electric distribution utilities.

LandBank's Electronic Salary Loan (eSL) provides quick funds for government and corporate employees with LandBank payroll services, including a waived servicing fee for applications until December 31.

Existing eSL borrowers can also apply for early renewal if they have paid at least one month of amortization.

Furthermore, LandBank credit cardholders can access emergency cash through the EasyCash for Emergencies feature, with repayment options of up to 36 months.
