Lacson hopes for unity as campaign ends

Senator Panfilo "Ping" Lacson expressed hope for unity and an end to political animosity as the 2022 election campaign period concluded.

He thanked God for safety during the campaign and prayed for the nation to become "one nation, one people again."

Lacson reflected on the grueling 90-day campaign, which involved visiting provinces and listening to residents' concerns.

He mentioned that if he doesn't win the presidency, he anticipates returning to farming in Silang, Cavite.

Lacson also stated his desire to regain his strength and resume normal activities like exercising and eating well after the demanding campaign.

Whatever the election results may be, he urged all candidates to let go of animosities and respect the majority's decision, emphasizing that a divided country cannot move forward.
