LA Tenorio takes blame for Magnolia's PBA Philippine Cup exit

Magnolia Hotshots playing coach LA Tenorio accepted full responsibility for their quarterfinal exit in the PBA Philippine Cup.

The Hotshots started the conference with a strong 4-1 record but ended the eliminations losing four of their last six games.

This slump led to a twice-to-win disadvantage against TNT Tropang Giga in the quarterfinals, where they were eventually defeated.

Tenorio admitted that he was 'outcoached' by TNT mentor Chot Reyes and that the team was outplayed.

He acknowledged the need for the young Magnolia squad to beat the best teams like TNT to improve.

Tenorio stated that he learned a lot during the conference and will reflect on his coaching decisions for the betterment of the team.
