Clinging to fourth place with a 6-6 record, the Green Archers are on a three-game losing streak and need a victory to avoid jeopardizing their playoff chances.

La Salle, after back-to-back finals appearances, is on a tailspin and another loss would put its chances in peril, especially with Adamson, Ateneo, and FEU closely trailing them.

A win would give the Green Archers some breathing room and full control of their chances to go as high as 8-6, as Santo Tomas holds an inside track to the third spot.

National University and UP have already secured the top two spots, guaranteeing them twice-to-beat advantages in the Final Four.

Team captain Mike Phillips expressed hope amid adversities, including the season-ending MCL injuries of Kean Baclaan and Mason Amos.
