DLSU Green Archers win 3rd straight UAAP 3x3 title

De La Salle University's men's 3x3 basketball team secured their third consecutive UAAP championship by defeating the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers, 15-12.

Doy Dungo was named the tournament's MVP, contributing 7 points in the championship game.

Veteran Earl Abadam, who had 4 points and significant defensive impact, was instrumental in the finals and was subbed in for Vhoris Marasigan during the tournament.

Abadam emphasized the importance of leadership by example and the power of belief, stating, "I just want to be a leader by example to my teammates. Just wanted to show that nothing can hold you back if you want it."

Abadam now holds three UAAP championships, including one in 5-on-5 and two in 3x3.

The Green Archers, initially the fourth seed, overcame a slow start and stunned the top-seeded National University in the semifinals, 17-14.
