Kris Aquino's cancer scare turns out to be negative

Filipino television host Kris Aquino revealed on Instagram that she experienced a cancer scare after a PET scan indicated a potential issue with her colon.

The news was particularly distressing for Aquino due to her family history, as both her mother, the late president Cory Aquino, and her grandmother had battled colon cancer.

She shared her emotional reaction, recounting how she broke down in tears and expressed her sadness to her nurse and youngest son, Bimby.

Aquino's son, Bimby, offered words of comfort and encouragement, urging her to trust in God and the possibility of early detection.

Fortunately, after further assessment, doctors informed Aquino that she is cancer-free with clear intestines and no visible signs of the disease.
