Kris Aquino dismisses death rumors

Kris Aquino has dismissed rumors of her death, confirming she is alive and well.

Close friend Dindo Balares revealed that he was contacted by several people asking about the validity of Kris Aquino's supposed demise.

Balares contacted Aquino's staff, who confirmed she was alive and sleeping, having recently undergone a surgical procedure for blood clots.

Aquino herself attributed the death hoax to a recent hospitalization where her blood pressure became dangerously high.

She reported her blood pressure reaching 172/112, prompting her to call for an ambulance to be taken to St. Luke's Medical Center.
