KPop Demon Hunters becomes Netflix's most-watched film ever

KPop Demon Hunters has become Netflix's most-watched film of all time with 236 million views as of August 24, surpassing 'Red Notice' which had 230.9 million views.

The animated film follows the story of Huntrix, a K-pop girl group who secretly battles demons while managing their public lives.

The plot involves Huntrix encountering the Saja Boys, a rival boy group whose members are revealed to be demons.

The movie features a notable voice cast including Arden Cho, Ahn Hyo-seop, Ken Jeong, and Lea Salonga.

Four songs from the film, including "Golden" at No. 1, feature in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.

Arden Cho, the voice of Rumi, expressed her joy for the film's success and its ability to provide joy and an escape from daily stresses.

In the same week, a sing-along version of KPop Demon Hunters achieved a box office victory, generating between $17 million and $18 million between August 22 and 24.
