Hole dug at KOJC compound? Cops deny allegation
The legal counsel of Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC), Israelito Torreon, posted a photo showing individuals in police attire conducting an excavation within the religious group's compound.
Torreon claimed the alleged digging has reportedly reached eight meters deep and might affect the stability of the Jose Maria College (JMC) Building.
He stated he received the photos from confidential sources and was denied clearance to access certain areas of the compound where the digging allegedly occurred.
PRO-11 Director, Brigadier General Nicolas Torre III, denied the allegation, challenging Atty. Torreon to prove his claims.
Torreon called on Philippine National Police chief General Rommel Marbil to allow them to enter the basement to confirm the excavation.
He also questioned if the supposed digging is still covered by the service of the arrest warrant against KOJC leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, and if the police have "reasonable belief" that he is in the compound.
Police continue to believe Quiboloy is at the compound, with General Torre stating that they will eventually catch him.
