KMJS Halloween special adapted into movie starring Jillian Ward, Sanya Lopez

The popular Halloween special "Gabi ng Lagim" from "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho" (KMJS) is set to be adapted into a movie titled "Gabi ng Lagim: The Movie" by GMA Pictures.

The film will feature Sparkle talents Jillian Ward, Sanya Lopez, and Miguel Tanfelix, alongside Kapamilya actor Elijah Canlas, with award-winning journalist Jessica Soho also joining the cast.

The movie is based on true accounts and will showcase three horror stories: a haunted ship, a possession, and aswangs.

Sanya Lopez will portray a "berbalang," a type of aswang that consumes the dead, based on true events and stories from Southern Mindanao.

Jillian Ward stated that the film will not only be terrifying but will also impart important lessons and have a deeper meaning.
