Kim Myung Soo and Choi Bo Min named PH tourism ambassadors for South Korea

Korean actors Kim Myung Soo and Choi Bo Min have been appointed as the newest Philippine tourism ambassadors for South Korea by the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines.

The official appointment was made at a gathering in Clark, Pampanga on December 14.

During their appointment, the two artists attended an event wearing custom Filipino-designed Barong Tagalog incorporating traditional fabrics and local motifs.

As part of their ambassadorship, Kim and Choi visited the Philippines from December 13 to 14, participating in activities highlighting leisure, sports, and lifestyle tourism, including a golf session and a half marathon.

Kim Myung Soo, a member of the K-pop group INFINITE, expressed his desire to return to the Philippines for leisure travel, potentially visiting Siargao.

Choi Bo Min has prior connections to the Philippines, having worked on the local series "Beauty Empire" for four months.

In their roles, Myung Soo and Bo Min will engage in destination tours, digital campaigns, and promotional events to highlight the Philippines to Korean travelers.

They join other celebrities such as Michelle Dee, Seo In Guk, and Vanessa Hudgens who have also been named Philippine tourism ambassadors.
