Kim Chiu buys construction materials for Cebu earthquake victims

Cebuana actress Kim Chiu is personally purchasing construction materials to donate to victims of the magnitude 6.9 earthquake in Cebu.

She was seen selecting materials in Bogo City and San Remigio, areas heavily affected by the quake, with the materials intended for residents in these locations.

The powerful tremor, which struck on September 30, has left 72 people dead and damaged infrastructure.

As of October 2, aftershocks continue to be felt across affected areas.

Chiu was in Cebu for the filming of her upcoming Prime Video series 'The Alibi', and took a break from taping to support relief efforts.

Other cast members, like Zsa Zsa Padilla, have also contributed by donating ready-to-eat food packs.
