Kevin Quiambao to return to La Salle for another season

Most Valuable Player Kevin Quiambao will play another season with De La Salle University to aim for a back-to-back championship.

He stated his desire to finish his college degree at La Salle was a key factor in his decision to return.

Quiambao led De La Salle to their first UAAP men's basketball championship in seven years, defeating the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons in the finals.

He was also named the league's MVP, the first local player to achieve this since Kiefer Ravena in 2014-2015, and secured the Finals MVP plum.

Despite hints of potential overseas offers, Quiambao confirmed he will remain with De La Salle for his third collegiate year.

Quiambao clarified that his upcoming trip to Japan is solely for a family vacation, not for basketball-related opportunities.
