Katrina Halili shares daughter's autism diagnosis and progress

Kapuso star Katrina Halili revealed that her daughter, Katie, was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) around the age of three.

Halili noticed Katie's condition when her daughter lacked eye contact when called and exhibited other symptoms that prompted a doctor's recommendation for further checks.

She acknowledged that parenting a child with autism comes with challenges, admitting that there were times when she felt overwhelmed and cried because she couldn't be with her daughter.

Despite the initial challenges, Halili expressed that she did not feel scared but rather focused on providing the necessary treatment and therapies for Katie.

Halili expressed her joy in seeing her daughter's progress, highlighting that Katie is now thriving and has found a passion for music.
