Kapuso actress mourns death of boyfriend, former vice mayor Jeremy Guiab

Kapuso actress Katrina Halili is mourning the death of her non-showbiz boyfriend, former Wao, Lanao Del Sur Vice Mayor Jeremy Guiab, who passed away from a heart attack.

Halili expressed her grief on social media, questioning why Guiab left her and their daughter Katie, as he had promised to take care of them.

Quezon City Councilor Don De Leon confirmed the passing of his friend Jeremy, describing him as his best friend, brother, confidant, and partner.

Jeremy died on January 28 at 53 years old after suffering a heart attack in Halili's home in Quezon City.

Halili rushed Guiab to St. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City where he was declared dead.

Several celebrity friends have offered their condolences and support to Halili during this difficult time.

Guiab's wake will be held in Quezon City until Thursday, Feb. 1.
