The One Direction star, who was 31, died from polytrauma after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires.

According to an autopsy report, he suffered 25 injuries, including a serious head injury.

Police said he was alone when the incident happened, and there were indications that he experienced an episode due to alleged substance abuse.

Autopsy and toxicology reports indicated alcohol, cocaine, and antidepressants were in his system.

Five individuals were charged by Argentine authorities in connection with the events leading to Payne's death.

Payne was in Argentina with Cassidy to renew his US visa, and Cassidy had left the country two days prior due to visa delays.
