Kamuning Busway station to temporarily close for new footbridge construction

The Kamuning Busway station will temporarily close for the construction of a new footbridge, with the northbound station closure scheduled from November 15 to 17 and the southbound station from December 11 to 15, both between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m.

Passengers affected by the closure will be accommodated at the Nepa Q-Mart or Quezon Avenue stations.

The new footbridge, ordered by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., will replace a previous one deemed too high and will connect both sides of the EDSA busway.

This covered footbridge will feature covered stairways, two elevators, and a wheelchair lifter for improved accessibility.

The rehabilitation project for the Kamuning footbridge and EDSA busway station is estimated to cost P89 million and is set to be finished by December 2025.
