Justin Brownlee wants to develop PH basketball

Naturalized Filipino basketball player Justin Brownlee expressed his desire to contribute to the development of basketball in the Philippines, particularly for younger generations.

Brownlee, a prominent player for Ginebra in the PBA, is participating in an advocacy for sports and youth development spearheaded by Milka Romero and the 1Pacman Party-list.

His naturalization as a Filipino citizen in January 2023, facilitated by former 1Pacman Rep. Mikee Romero, enabled him to represent Gilas Pilipinas.

Brownlee was instrumental in Gilas Pilipinas' historic gold medal victory at the Asian Games, ending a 61-year drought, and their significant win against Latvia in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament, which broke a 64-year streak against European teams.
