Julie Anne San Jose missed Miss Saigon audition due to illness

Filipina singer Julie Anne San Jose recalled a missed opportunity to audition for the West End production of "Miss Saigon" due to illness.

San Jose revealed that she received a callback for "Miss Saigon" around the same time Rachelle Ann Go was cast, but she became severely ill and was bedridden.

She considers the missed chance as a sign that it was not meant to be.

Despite the setback, San Jose expressed her willingness to pursue theater if another similar opportunity arises.

The singer recently launched her new single "Simula," for which she also took on the role of producer.
