Jude Garcia named Player of the Week

Jude Garcia was named Player of the Week for his outstanding performance, leading Criss Cross to the finals of the 2024 Spikers' Turf Invitational Conference.

Garcia delivered a 25-point performance in a crucial semifinal match against Cignal, helping Criss Cross secure a 25-20, 22-25, 25-12, 26-24 victory.

His offensive prowess includes 21 attacks, two blocks, and two aces, with a particularly strong performance in the fourth set that extended Criss Cross' winning streak to eight games.

This win also served as an avenge for Criss Cross, as they defeated Cignal, the only team to beat them in the tournament.

Garcia expressed his mindset is to always give his 100% effort when the ball comes to him, trusting his teammates' confidence in him.

Previously, Garcia scored 18 points against DN Steel Far Eastern University, contributing to Criss Cross' 2-0 standing in the semifinals and their second consecutive Spikers' Turf finals appearance.
