Joo Dae Young extends Tour of Luzon lead despite losing stage 7

South Korean cyclist Joo Dae Young secured a second-place finish in Stage 7 of the MPTC Tour of Luzon: Great Revival, a 15.2-kilometer individual time trial, solidifying his overall lead.

Joo Dae Young of Gapyeong Cycling Team clocked 18 minutes and three seconds, finishing behind stage winner Joseph Javiniar of Excellent Noodles, who recorded 17:25.

Mervin Corpuz of Metro Pacific Tollways Drivehub finished third in the stage with a time of 18:17.

Despite not winning the stage, Joo Dae Young's performance earned him valuable seconds, extending his overall lead to 2.10 minutes.

Nichol Pajera of Victoria Sports moved up to third place overall after finishing fourth in Stage Seven.

Several other Filipino cyclists, including Jan Paul Morales, Jeremy Lizardo, Jonel Carcueva, Jerico Jay Lucero, Mar Francis Sudario, Rench Michael Bondoc, and Ronald Oranza, are within the top 10 overall standings.
