Jo Koy gets traditional tattoo from Apo Whang Od

Filipino-American comedian Jo Koy received a traditional three-dot tattoo from 108-year-old mambabatok Apo Whang Od in Buscalan, Kalinga.

Jo Koy shared glimpses of his meeting with Apo Whang Od on social media, showing the legendary tattoo artist wearing a hoodie from his "Just Being Koy" tour.

He expressed his gratitude, saying, "I've been blessed by the legend. Mahal kita Apo Whang-Od."

Apo Whang Od, recognized as the oldest and last mambabatok, was honored by President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. in February 2024 with the Outstanding Government Workers of 2023 and the Presidential Medal of Merit awards.

She was also featured on the cover of Vogue Philippines in 2023, highlighting her enduring beauty and strength.
