Jisoo and Zayn Malik to release surprise duet 'Eyes Closed' on Oct 10

K-pop superstar Jisoo from the group Blackpink and former One Direction member Zayn Malik will release a surprise duet single titled "Eyes Closed" on October 10.

The single features the lyrics, "We should fall in love with our eyes closed."

Jisoo confirmed the collaboration through an Instagram post, which also included a photo with Zayn and a snippet of the song.

Industry sources had previously suggested the collaboration would be a ballad, and Zayn Malik's attendance at Blackpink's recent New York concert may have been related to this project.

Jisoo is currently on Blackpink's "Deadline" world tour and will be taking a short break before resuming the tour in Taiwan on October 18.

Blackpink is also scheduled to return to the Philippine Arena in November for a two-day stop for their "Deadline" tour.
