Inflation and corruption top Filipino concerns

Inflation and corruption have emerged as the top concerns for Filipinos, with 59% prioritizing controlling the prices of goods and commodities and 48% prioritizing fighting graft and corruption.

The flood control controversy gained significant attention in the latter half of 2025, contributing to public frustration over corruption.

Compared to the third quarter survey, concerns about inflation increased by five percentage points to 59%, while concerns about fighting corruption dropped by three percentage points to 48%.

Inflation was the top concern across various regions and socio-economic classes, except for Metro Manila and socio-economic class C, where corruption was a more prominent concern.

Other significant concerns for Filipinos include increasing worker pay, reducing poverty, creating jobs, fighting criminality, and addressing illegal drug use.
