Ilocos Norte receives 2 ambulances from PCSO

The provincial government of Ilocos Norte has received two of the four ambulances pledged by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

These ambulances will bolster the province's capacity to address coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) concerns by providing additional transport services for hospitals.

Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc expressed gratitude for the donation and mentioned that the vehicles will be equipped with necessary medical supplies.

The first two ambulances were allocated to the municipalities of Piddig and Vintar, with the recipients of the remaining two yet to be identified.

This donation follows a previous gift of six ambulances from the PCSO to Ilocos Norte and its neighboring provinces in 2017.
