Hontiveros says she won't be betrayed if allies join Senate majority

Senator Risa Hontiveros stated she feels no sense of betrayal regarding reports that her allies, Senators Kiko Pangilinan and Bam Aquino, might join the Senate majority.

Hontiveros emphasized that she will continue to focus on strengthening the opposition, regardless of her colleagues' individual decisions.

She noted that decisions on bloc affiliations will be finalized on July 28, the opening of the Senate session.

Hontiveros also mentioned the possibility of remaining an independent senator, separate from the majority or minority blocs.

She stressed that each senator is accountable for their own choices and she cannot speak for her colleagues.
