47 flights canceled due to bad weather

A total of 47 flights were canceled on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, due to inclement weather caused by a low-pressure area and the southwest monsoon.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) reported these cancellations as of 5 a.m. on Wednesday.

Several domestic and international flights operated by Philippine Airlines, Cebgo, and Cebu Pacific Air were affected.

Cebu Pacific Air canceled numerous flights, including those connecting Manila to Bicol, Roxas, Laoag, Puerto Princesa, Tacloban, Ozamis, Zamboanga, and Butuan.

Philippine Airlines canceled flights such as those between Davao and Manila, Manila and Panglao, Manila and Bacolod, and Manila and Hong Kong.

Cebgo canceled flights between Manila and Naga, and also flights between Cebu and Manila.

Additional flight cancellations were announced for Friday, July 25, 2025, due to adverse weather conditions and tropical cyclones.

Cebu Pacific canceled flights to and from Cauayan and Tuguegarao, while Philippine Airlines canceled domestic flights to Laoag, Basco, Tuguegarao, and Cauayan, as well as an international flight from Osaka to Manila.
