GSIS partners with Dragonpay for digital payments

The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has partnered with payment solutions provider Dragonpay to expand its digital payment channels for members and pensioners.

A memorandum of agreement (MOA) was signed on July 16, 2025, formalizing the partnership.

Through this collaboration, Dragonpay will provide electronic payment channels for GSIS loan repayments, accessible via the GSIS Touch mobile app and designated GSIS information booths.

GSIS President and General Manager Wick Veloso stated that this initiative demonstrates the GSIS's commitment to providing ease of doing business and comfort to its stakeholders.

Dragonpay joins existing GSIS payment partners such as Bayad Center, M Lhuillier, Maya, UnionBank, and Land Bank of the Philippines.

GSIS and Dragonpay will integrate their systems, establishing technical specifications, reporting protocols, and regular testing to ensure accountability.

Both parties have committed to comply with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and relevant regulations of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and the Commission on Audit, enforcing robust security protocols.
