Greg Slaughter trains with ex-teammate Chris Ellis in US

Greg Slaughter reunited with former Barangay Ginebra San Miguel teammate Chris Ellis while training in the United States.

Slaughter, who is currently taking a break from the PBA, posted photos of their training session on his Instagram account.

Also joining them was former Batang Gilas guard Dalph Panopio, who is pursuing an NBA dream via the DME Academy in Florida.

Slaughter announced a sudden sabbatical from the PBA on February 8, causing disarray for Ginebra.

Ellis had been absent for two years following his trade to Blackwater in 2017.

Ellis was recently spotted in Thailand playing for Lao club Luang Prabang in the Thai Basketball Super League.

Both players played only for Ginebra throughout their careers, with Ellis winning a PBA title in 2016 when Slaughter was sidelined by injury.
