Govt workers to receive year-end bonus and P5,000 cash gift by early Nov

Government workers can expect their year-end bonus and a P5,000 cash gift to be released in early November.

The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) confirmed that these benefits will be included in the first payroll of November 2025.

The year-end bonus is equivalent to one month's basic pay as of October 31, while the cash gift is an annual reward for the hard work of government employees.

To ensure timely disbursement, the DBM had already released the necessary funds at the beginning of the fiscal year.

Employees who have served for at least four months since January 1 and are still employed as of October 31 are eligible for these bonuses.

A total of P63.69 billion has been allocated for the year-end bonus, covering both civilian and military personnel.

An additional P9.24 billion is earmarked for the cash gift, intended for over 1.85 million government workers nationwide.

All agencies have been instructed by the DBM to release these bonuses promptly and in compliance with budget circulars.
