Govt holds special vax days in Davao, Cebu, Cotabato, BARMM

The government will hold special vaccination days from March 29 to April 1 in the Davao Region, Cebu province, Cotabato City, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) to increase COVID-19 vaccine coverage.

Health Undersecretary Myrna Cabotage announced that Region 11, Cebu province, and Cotabato City will have vaccination days from March 29 to 31, while BARMM will have them from March 30 to April 1.

As of March 24, 65.5 million Filipinos have received their primary vaccine doses, and 11.7 million have received booster shots.

The DOH is also consulting health experts about redefining 'fully vaccinated individuals' and monitoring areas for potential de-escalation to Alert Level 1.
