GMA Integrated News gears up for Marcos Jr.'s third SONA coverage

GMA Integrated News is preparing a comprehensive, multi-platform coverage of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s third State of the Nation Address (SONA) on July 22, reinforcing its role as the 'News Authority ng Filipino'.

The special coverage, titled 'State of the Nation Address 2024: The GMA Integrated News Special Coverage,' will be simulcast on GMA, GTV, and Pinoy Hits, with Pia Arcangel and Atom Araullo serving as anchors.

Leading up to the SONA, GMA Integrated News will provide extensive updates across its various programs.

The flagship newscast "24 Oras" will present the key highlights of the President's speech along with special reports examining major challenges faced by the administration, such as the West Philippine Sea dispute, El Niño, POGO operations, inflation, and political issues.

Other news programs including "Saksi," "Dobol B TV," "Balitanghali," "Dapat Alam Mo!," and "State of the Nation" will offer roundups of the day's significant stories.

The morning news program "Unang Balita" will provide an overview of the President's address to the nation.

GMA Regional TV (RTV) will ensure viewers in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao remain informed through its regional newscasts, featuring special reports in local languages that focus on the administration's achievements, future plans, and their effects on both urban and rural communities nationwide.
