ABS-CBN, GMA, Viu announce first co-production series

Media giants ABS-CBN and GMA Network are collaborating on their first-ever co-production series with streaming service Viu.

A teaser released on January 20, 2023, announced a reveal date of January 23, 2023, at 12 p.m., hinting at an 'unbreaking' event and an ensemble cast.

While specific details about the project remain unconfirmed, netizens speculate that ABS-CBN stars Jodi Sta. Maria and Joshua Garcia, along with GMA stars Richard Yap and Gabbi Garcia, will lead the show.

This partnership follows a recent agreement between GMA Network and Viu Philippines to stream GMA shows globally, with "The Write One" and "Love Before Sunrise" being the initial series.

The collaboration also builds on GMA Network's broadcast of several popular movies from ABS-CBN's Star Cinema last year.
