Globe, BPI pilot silent network authentication to fight scams

Globe Telecom and Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) are piloting a new Silent Network Authentication (SNA) method to combat OTP-related scams.

This innovative verification technique authenticates users instantly by leveraging real-time network intelligence, eliminating the need for manual code entry or SMS verification.

The initiative, part of Globe's G Verify solutions, aims to enhance customer protection and improve user experience by reducing vulnerability to fraud.

Globe and BPI, both Ayala Group companies, are conducting the joint test to ensure secure and effortless transactions for Filipinos.
