Gilas Pilipinas unveils 12-man lineup for SEA Games

Gilas Pilipinas has finalized its 12-man lineup for the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand, featuring returning players Thirdy Ravena, Matthew Wright, Ray Parks, and Robert Bolick.

The final squad includes Jamie Malonzo, Dalph Panopio, Justin Chua, Von Pessumal, Abu Tratter, Veejay Pre, Allen Liwag, and Cedrick Manzano.

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) confirmed the roster after revisions to the SEA Games organizer's eligibility rules, which initially caused confusion.

These new rules barred naturalized players and those who did not obtain a passport before age 16, affecting previous plans that included Justin Brownlee and Ange Kouame.

This finalized lineup is the fourth version submitted by the SBP, which also includes PBA standouts Bolick, Panopio, Tratter, and Pessumal.

Coach Norman Black will lead Gilas Pilipinas in the regional competition, scheduled from December 9 to December 20, as the Philippines aims for its 20th gold medal.
