Gilas Pilipinas bows to Poland in close friendly match

Gilas Pilipinas narrowly lost to world No. 15 Poland with a final score of 82-80 in a friendly match held in Poland.

Justin Brownlee led Gilas with an impressive 30 points, playing nearly the entire game.

The Philippine team staged a late rally, overcoming a 14-point deficit in the final quarter.

Dwight Ramos was instrumental in the comeback, scoring 16 points, including crucial three-pointers in a 13-3 run.

Ramos also contributed significantly with nine rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

June Mar Fajardo added 10 points, while Kai Sotto contributed eight points, 11 rebounds, and five assists.

Poland's Michal Sokolowski was the top scorer for the hosts with 21 points.

NBA player Jeremy Sochan also played for Poland, scoring eight points and grabbing five rebounds in limited minutes.
