GCash launches PocketPay for MSMEs to accept card payments via smartphones

GCash has launched PocketPay, enabling micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to convert their Android smartphones into payment terminals for credit and debit card transactions.

This feature allows mobile sellers, delivery vendors, and pop-up merchants to accept card payments without needing costly hardware.

PocketPay offers a flexible, reliable, and user-friendly solution for businesses to expand their operations and adapt to the growing trend of cashless transactions.

The feature is available with zero transaction fees until December 3, 2025, and can be activated via the GCash for Business portal.

GCash also launched the GCash Virtual US Account, allowing freelancers to receive salaries directly to their e-wallet accounts without additional charges.
