Fuel prices for gasoline and diesel will decrease by P0.10 per liter, and kerosene by P0.30 per liter, effective Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
Major oil companies including Shell Pilipinas, Seaoil, CleanFuel, and Caltex will implement these price adjustments.
This marks the third consecutive week of rollbacks for diesel and kerosene.
The Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau attributed the decline to several global factors, including Saudi Aramco's price hike for Asian buyers, declining production from Iran and Nigeria, market reactions to US tariff policies, weaker US demand, and former US President Donald Trump's agreement to delay steep tariffs on Mexico and Canada.
Saudi Aramco announced an increase in prices for Asian buyers for March delivery due to rising demand from China and India, compounded by US sanctions disrupting Russian supply.
However, the market remains watchful of potential supply disruptions from Iran and the impact of US sanctions on Russian oil exports, which have contributed to higher Saudi crude prices for Asian buyers.
With this week's adjustments, the total net increase for 2025 stands at P3.25 per liter for gasoline, P3.55 per liter for diesel and P2.60 per liter for kerosene.
