GAP expects Yulo to podium at Junior World Championships

The GAP President, Cynthia Carrion, expects Eldrew Yulo to achieve a podium finish at the 3rd Artistic Gymnastics Junior World Championships, which will be held in the Philippines from November 20 to 25.

Eldrew Yulo, a 17-year-old gymnast and the younger brother of Paris Olympics double gold medalist Carlos Yulo, is preparing for the championships with the support of the Gymnastic Association of the Philippines (GAP).

The Philippines will also have another competitor, Elisabeth Antone, who recently won a bronze medal at the Junior Asian Championships in Jecheon, South Korea.

The event will take place at the Manila Marriott Hotel Grand Ballroom at the Newport World Resorts in Pasay City.

Cynthia Carrion expressed that she is not pressuring Eldrew Yulo to deliver despite the expected sellout crowd at the championships.

Yulo, who trained for a month in Nagoya, Japan under noted Japanese coach Munehiro Kugimiya, aims to perform well in his major international competition this year.
