Galvez proposes CDA for senators to know vaccine prices

Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. proposed a confidential disclosure agreement (CDA) between individual senators and vaccine manufacturers to allow lawmakers to know the exact prices of COVID-19 vaccines.

Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque mentioned that senators should be satisfied with the price range already disclosed by the government to avoid breaching confidentiality agreements with vaccine suppliers.

The Senate Committee of the Whole has initiated an inquiry into the government's vaccination program.

Some senators have previously raised concerns regarding the alleged high cost of Sinovac vaccines compared to those in neighboring countries.

Government officials have maintained that the negotiated prices are confidential as part of the initial agreements with the suppliers.
