Oil prices to increase Jan. 14
Filipino drivers will face increased fuel costs starting Tuesday, January 14, 2025, with gasoline and kerosene prices rising by P0.80 per liter and diesel by P0.90 per liter.
Major oil companies including Caltex, Flying V, Petron, Seaoil, and Shell Pilipinas, as well as Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, and Unioil, have announced these price adjustments.

The Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau (DOE-OIMB) had projected these increases, citing declines in production data, US employment growth, anticipated Asian demand, and states of emergency in the US and Europe due to cold weather.
Last week's price adjustments saw gasoline and kerosene increase by P1.00 per liter each, and diesel by P1.40 per liter.
For the full year 2024, fuel prices saw a net increase of P12.75 per liter for gasoline and P11.00 per liter for diesel, while kerosene decreased by P2.70 per liter.
