Four new coaches join PBA's 50th season

Four new coaches, Dennis Pineda, LA Tenorio, Willy Wilson, and Ronald Tubid, are set to debut in the PBA's 50th season.

Pineda, who is also Pampanga Vice Gov., previously coached the Pampanga Giant Lanterns to back-to-back MPBL titles and two Coach of the Year awards.

He expressed that coaching in the PBA is a big challenge and he has mixed emotions about facing seasoned teams and coaches.

Tenorio, Wilson, and Tubid have transitioned from playing roles to head coaching positions.

Wilson finds adjusting to the coaching role an ongoing process, focusing on taking things one step at a time.

He also finds it humbling and overwhelming to be coaching against seasoned mentors he once played under.
