Fire in Tondo Tondo displaces 500 families, damages P1.5M

A fire in the Happy Land area of Tondo, Manila, has affected approximately 500 families.

The blaze originated from the second floor of a two-story residential building constructed with light materials in Building 7, Helping Compound, Road 10.

Four buildings were destroyed, resulting in an estimated P1,500,000 in damages.

Fortunately, no fatalities were reported, but three individuals sustained minor injuries.

The fire started around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday and was declared under control by early Sunday morning.
