Fire in Malabon extinguished after four hours

A fire that erupted in a residential area in Barangay Potrero, Malabon City, was extinguished early Sunday morning after burning for four hours.

The blaze reached the second alarm as it spread through the densely populated neighborhood before dawn.

Fire suppression efforts were sustained for an extended period, with the fire being put under control at 1:39 a.m. and fully extinguished at 4:51 a.m.

As of reporting time, no injuries or fatalities have been confirmed, and the cause and extent of the damage are still under investigation by fire officials.
