Filipino tourists to get visa-free entry to Oman starting 2026

Filipino tourists will be able to visit Oman without a visa starting in 2026, according to a statement from the Omani Embassy.

Oman's Ambassador to the Philippines, H.E. Nasser Said Abdullah Al Manwari, announced that the visa exemption will initially allow for stays of approximately two weeks.

This initiative marks Oman as the first Middle Eastern country to offer visa-free travel to Filipinos, aiming to significantly increase tourism.

The ambassador expressed optimism that the removal of visa requirements will lead to a substantial rise in the number of Filipino visitors.

Additionally, discussions are underway to expand flight options between the two countries, including potential new direct flights to Cebu and increased capacity from Manila, subject to airport limitations.
