PSC, POC to give cash incentives and iPhones to PH youth athletes

Filipino medalists in the 3rd Asian Youth Games will receive cash incentives and phones from the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC).

The PSC will award P500,000 for gold medals, P300,000 for silver, and P100,000 for bronze.

The POC will provide half of the PSC's cash incentive for each medal type and an iPhone 17 to all medalists.

The Philippines, with 140 athletes, secured seven gold, seven silver, and ten bronze medals, placing 12th overall.

This performance marks the country's best-ever showing in the continental meet.

Muay athlete Jan Brix Ramiscal will receive the largest reward for winning a gold medal and a silver medal.
