Fiancé named person of interest in missing bride-to-be case

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) has named Mark Arjay Reyes, the fiancé of missing bride-to-be Sherra De Juan, as a person of interest in her disappearance.

QCPD Director Col. Randy Glenn Silvio clarified that Reyes is not yet considered a suspect but is being investigated as he was reportedly the last person seen with De Juan.

De Juan went missing on December 10, four days before their wedding, and was last seen boarding a bus near a gasoline station in North Fairview.

Reyes, who is cooperating with the investigation, has increased the reward for information leading to De Juan's location to P150,000.

Investigators are awaiting the results of the forensic examination on De Juan's cell phone, and noted that while vendors claimed to have seen her at Fairview Center Mall, its CCTV system was under maintenance at the time.
