FEU, PBCom, SSI Group make Forbes Asia's Best Under A Billion list

Far Eastern University (FEU), Philippine Bank of Communications (PBCom), and SSI Group have been recognized in Forbes Asia's 'Best Under A Billion' 2024 list.

This list highlights 200 top-performing small and mid-sized companies in the Asia Pacific with annual sales between $10 million and $1 billion.

Companies were selected from over 20,000 regional public firms based on sales, debt, and earnings-per-share growth.

Forbes Asia also applied qualitative assessments, excluding companies with governance issues, poor accounting, environmental concerns, management problems, or recent legal troubles.

FEU, a private educational institution, was noted for its diverse academic offerings and reported revenues of $88 million.

PBCom, a commercial bank, was recognized for its wide range of financial services, with reported revenues of $163 million.

SSI Group made a repeat appearance on the list, with Forbes Asia valuing the company at $192 million.

SSI Group president Anthony Huang attributed their growth to their "unique brand portfolio" and "world-class customer experiences," which led to a record full-year 2023 net income of P2.5 billion.
