FEU Lady Tamaraws eliminate Ateneo, eye Final Four spot

The Far Eastern University (FEU) Lady Tamaraws are currently in third place with a 8-4 record after defeating the Ateneo Blue Eagles, eliminating them from semifinal contention.

FEU faces Adamson University next, with a win potentially clinching a Final Four ticket and boosting their chances for a twice-to-beat incentive.

The Lady Tamaraws, aiming for a potential 30th title for the program, are determined to boost their Final Four bid against fellow hopefuls, the Shai Nitura-led Adamson Lady Falcons who are currently on the brink of elimination.

Reigning champion National University leads the standings at 10-2, followed by La Salle at 8-3.

University of Santo Tomas holds a 7-4 record and is also vying for a semifinal spot.

The Lady Tamaraws' victory over Ateneo was marked by strong performances from Faida Bakanke (19 points), Gerz Petallo (13 points), and Chen Tagaod (12 points).

AC Miner (17 points) and Jihann Chuatico (13 points) were key scorers for Ateneo, but it wasn't enough to overcome FEU.
