FEU Lady Tamaraws clinch twice-to-beat advantage by defeating CSB Lady Blazers

The Far Eastern University (FEU) Lady Tamaraws secured the last quarterfinals twice-to-beat advantage by defeating the College of Saint Benilde (CSB) Lady Blazers in four sets.

FEU clinched the victory with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 21-25, and 25-23, closing out Pool F play with a 2-1 record for second spot.

Alyzza Devosora was instrumental in the Lady Tamaraws' win, scoring 10 of her 16 points in the crucial fourth set, including four of the team's final six points and back-to-back hits that capped the closing rally.

Devosora emphasized the team's focus on achieving a good standing for the quarterfinals and worked hard to win the fourth set.

FEU will face the University of the Philippines in the quarterfinals, needing to win just one game to advance.

The Lady Tamaraws initially held a four-point lead in the fourth set, but the Lady Blazers mounted a 7-1 run to take a 21-19 advantage before FEU's comeback, sparked by Gerzel Petallo.
